Wolves and bears in the common habitat

As in the wild, bears and wolves live together in our wildlife park. Exciting observations are guaranteed in our new, elaborately designed facility.

The Wildlife & Adventure Park Ferleiten will build a new facility for its brown bears, so that this extremely attractive species again becomes a highlight when visiting the park.
The wolf enclosure is being renovated and an additional enclosure built, which can be used by bears and wolves.

• The joint enclosure for bears and wolves is a diverse and generously designed habitat for both species, where they can live appropriately to their species’ needs.
• The easily observable cohabitation of brown bears and wolves helps raise awareness and interest for these native species.
• Our visitors learn more about the importance of brown bears and wolves for species protection in Austria.
• The bear and wolf enclosure’s design by far exceeds the legal standards.
